Occultists swings back into full gear with another full-length album in 2022, this time inviting Turkish producer Tolga Baklacioglu & Greek vocalist Chrysa T for their collaborative work titled ‘Dystopia’. Strengthening their circle of eclectic artists that emerge from the shadows, the nine-track offering showcases experimental shades of techno and electronica but with a gritty edge. Together paired with Chrysa T’s ethereal vocal style, which adds a layer of polarity to the harder-edged productions the release also features post-punk undertones that give the release an attitude all of its own.

As the listener embarks on this sonic sound journey through their ‘Dystopia’ they will find tracks craftily tailored for sweaty dance floors, experimental explorations through the halls of insanity, and dark, moody, atmospheric anthems for the end of days. Each track weaves together seamlessly to present something that sits like an experimental crowned jewel within the label catalog.
